Great Dane - Desi - Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Desiree (Desi) is a wonderful, sweet, and funny dog. She is almost all black with a little white on her chest and a few toes. She has cropped and flopped ears (super cute). She loves to snuggle, but is a nut when she wants to play. She does wag her tail, but it it is never without her ENTIRE body as well. We call her a snake because of the way she wags her body, and because she will stick her nose under your arm and slide the rest of her body onto your lap for loving. She is completely potty trained, but is very submissive so sometimes goes a little bit when she feels nervous or if she gets in trouble for something (very rarely). She is not a counter surfer which is great, especially since she only a year old. She walks on a leash, but is learning not to criss-cross in front or behind you. She loves running with my husband and it helps her get her puppy energy out. She takes medicine very well, ear drops, eye drops and pills. She is not a jumper, but does hop an inch or so off the ground when she is trying to reach your hands to get you to pet her. She would do well with older children because she is still a baby and doesn't grasp her size quite yet. She gets along well with my two males and with all types of people. She hasn't been around children under the age of 12 because I don't know any that aren't very small, and as I said she would probably love them, she's just a little too rough for them right now.
