I purchased this vehicle for my wife in xxxx/9. She needed a vehicle to commute to Raleigh from Jacksonville. As such, most of the miles are highway miles. We have always maintained the vehicle with regular oil changes using fully synthetic oil. The vehicle is fast (you can spin the tires if you floor it) and runs great. Last year I had the air conditioner drained and refilled along with all of the cabin air filters. I mention this because it is the middle of summer and the AC works perfectly. The paint and leather are in pretty good condition. The vehicle was garage kept its entire life. KBB.com says that private party value ranges from $6,700-$7,700. We are asking a flat $7,000.00. It has heated front seats, power driver?s seat, power mirrors, power windows/locks, keypad on the outside that unlocks/locks doors or rolls down windows (this is the greatest thing ever. When I go to the beach, or anywhere I don't want to carry my keys, I leave them inside and lock the doors. When I get back, I punch in the code and everything is unlocked).
Here are the problems in case they are some sort of deal breaker: There is a cigarette burn on the back seat. We saw this burn prior to purchasing the vehicle and didn't think it was a big deal. The vehicle didn't smell like smoke when we got it, and no one has ever smoked in it since we've owned it. Another issue is the volume with the stereo. It has a six disc MP3 player that has auxiliary ports (plug in Iphone/Ipad/other audio source). There are two ways to turn up the volume: First, by the nob on the stereo or by the controls on the steering wheel. The nob on the stereo has a mind of its own and pretty much does whatever it wants when you turn it. Sometimes it complies with the direction you are twisting it and sometimes it does the opposite. The steering wheel controls work perfect every time. The last thing that is wrong with it is the tire pressure sensor. For some reason, it just stopped telling me the tire pressures in each tire. Then it put up some sort of warning stating that there was a problem. This just happened and I took a picture of it. This will be fixed by us. The part that is messed up is around $200 and I am waiting for it to come in. Once it comes in, I will have the dealer fix the problem.
Other than that, this car has been a pretty awesome vehicle. It is front wheel drive and pretty comfortable. It is still fast and has been maintained well. We have the actual title in hand and will have a real bill of sale prepared by Silva, Kiernan & Associates, PLLC.
